I am a successful C-suite senior leader with a demonstrated history in healthcare, venture, and global consumer goods industries. I bring proven skills in Strategic Planning, Business and Organizational Transformation, Innovation/New Business Creation, Brand Management, and P/L Operations. As the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am responsible for driving all aspects of strategy for the organization, including all seven health sciences colleges, and identifying key initiatives to build this transformation, working with both internal initiatives and external partners. As a Managing Director at CincyTech, the regional seed-to-Series A Venture Capital firm, I helped to enhance and grow the fund's portfolio, cultivate new partnerships and deal flow, and develop and deliver the strategic plan for the coming decade.As SVP for Strategy & Growth at Cincinnati Children’s, I was responsible for leading the institution’s strategic planning efforts, Business/Strategic Partnership Development, Marketing & Communications, enterprise innovation (via the Center for Technology Commercialization), Community Physician & Hospital Relationships, the Physician-Hospital Organization and efforts around Patient-Centered Medical Home, leading a team of 275 multi-disciplined employees (clinicians and administrators). During my 26-year tenure in management at the consumer powerhouse Procter & Gamble, I rose to the post of General Manager/Vice President, leading several business units including New Business Creation for Beauty & Grooming, Global Venus/Female Hair Removal, and North American and Western European Oral Care. In my New Business Creation role, I led a group of 125 multi-functional resources, responsible for the opportunity identification, start-up, and portfolio management of the Beauty & Grooming divisions ($23B of P&G’s business). I was one of the first P&G leaders into the Gillette acquisition, successfully driving innovation and accelerated growth for Venus across the globe. While in Oral Care, I restored growth to the base business, created and launched Crest Whitestrips, and led the acquisitions of Dr John’s Spinbrush and Glide Floss. I have served on the boards of several start ups and not for profit organizations.
