Zube is a powerful project management platform for companies using GitHub. We believe that the key for building successful, tech driven companies is communication within the development team and across the company. Zube makes communicating with the development team effortless.As a technical founder, I design and build the frontend, assist in developing the backend API, produce our branding and marketing strategies and lead our customer support and success ops.

Led growth at Wit.ai. On a day-to-day I did creative strategy, software development, marketing, and developer outreach. Among my projects, I improved our metrics tracking; wrote the code for our metrics dashboard suite; led our in-house hacks, which exposed our API to the developer community; developed a brand strategy and created the new logo; and represented Wit at Hack the North and Cal Hacks. I assisted in producing the Listen 2014 conference hosted by Wit.ai in November. I was lead off speaker for Listen 2014, and talked about my thoughts on the future of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the necessity of new interfaces. I sat on a panel about the future of technology at Cal Hacks, and I gave a Node.js / Wit.ai tutorial lecture to Stanford CS undergraduates.

YumHacker is a social website focused on restaurant discovery. As a solo founder, I produced the entire product, encompassing the initial concept, product design, software architecture, software implementation, data entry, data analysis, metrics, business development, graphic design, branding, marketing, and SEO. YumHacker uses a standard server side tech stack. From top to bottom, the stack is Nginx, Unicorn, Rails, Postgres, on a single Amazon EC2 instance. On the client side, YumHacker is written as a single page Backbone.js app, and consumes a JSON Rails API.

Grapefeed was a social news and discovery website, basically Pinterest for news. I was in charge of product, UX, market research, and user outreach. I created mockups and graphics for my co-founder to implement focusing on user flow and ease of use.

Pivit was a hardware startup focusing on building a quantum computer. At Pivit, I was in charge of marketing and growth. While at Pivit I wrote white papers on quantum mechanics and quantum computing geared toward technologists, researched the supercomputing market, and developed near-term quantum computing marketing strategies.

Our product at Soda Truck was a photo sharing app for iPhone and Android called ruHOT. ruHOT was one of the first photo apps to implement face detection on the iPhone. My role encompassed product direction, UX, graphic design, and technical team management. I designed application flow and created wireframes for the tech team to implement. I also created the graphics and marketing materials for the company.
