I collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment to promote the healthy relationships and well-being of adolescents and their parents.

I examined parents'​ behaviors and attitudes online using data from the Parenting 2.0 project, the Youth Development data set, the Minnesota Transgender Youth project, and an evaluation of the Big Brothers/Big Sister's program. I have analyzed data in SPSS, R, MPlus, and Stata using factor analysis, analysis of variance, logistic regression, multiple regression, latent class analysis, and cluster analysis. In addition to several other group publications, I was first author on a review of the literature on online social support for parents, digital differences by demographic indicators, and parents social networking behaviors in relation to their adolescents. I have also researched literature and measures for a grant application and transcribed qualitative interviews.
