At the UVic Genome BC Proteomics Centre I was involved in many large-scale research projects using mass spectrometry for protein analysis. Most recent focusses have included strategic planning on collaborations, international initiatives, business development, and technology commercialization. My graduate research at the Proteomics Centre involved development of a new clinical test for secondary hypertension, based on a combination of mass spectrometry and immuno-affinity concepts.
