I’m an accredited public relations leader with more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing award-winning communications strategies that have earned public recognition at the national, regional, and local levels.As the vice president of public relations for Conversa, I serve as the day-to-day lead on multiple client accounts across a range of industries, including non-profit, education, and transportation, to define messages, protect interests, influence opinion leaders, and create the conditions necessary for social change. I’ve worked in partnership with journalists across the Tampa Bay region – and nation – to create moments that matter for our clients. Proudly, I secured three earned segments on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” including an 11-min. special with veteran anchor Robin Roberts, to raise awareness of a first-of-its-kind social impact initiative for one of our national non-profit clients. Additionally, I help manage in-house priorities such as the growth and expansion of the Conversa brand and the planning and execution of the state of Florida’s first-ever annual women’s conference, the Women’s Conference of Florida.Prior to Conversa, I worked at Girl Scouts of West Central Florida in progressive roles where I was directly responsible for public relations and media, marketing, and retail operations in support of the eight-county council. My experience extends to C2 Communications, a boutique agency in southwest Florida, and the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce where I worked in a public-facing capacity to convene leaders and citizens from seven counties and 86 cities to strategically plan a more sustainable future for the central Florida region.I'm the immediate past chair of the PRSA Sunshine District, and I’m also a past president of the PRSA Tampa Bay chapter – a trade association I’ve been actively involved with since 2010. I was selected as a member of the Leadership Tampa Class of 2019, and I’ve been recognized by both the Tampa Bay Business Journal and Tampa Bay Business & Wealth as a top professional under age 40. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida (BA) and UNC Charlotte (MA).
