I emerged in the tech space in the UK in 2008, leading the new wave of short form video clips to mobile phones, delivering a celebrity digital greeting product. By 2013, I continued innovating into my second venture, leading one of the first iterations, or versions, of a live digital concert experience. I collaborated on both of these ventures with my business partner, a black man, Kiaran Sim, from London, who today serves as Yappa’s Co-Founder and COO. I am an innovator with over 10 years’ experience in the mobile web, conceptualizing and developing new ideas, strategic partnerships, capitalizing on emerging technologies, acquiring valuable content, and creating clear brand messages. Prior to founding Yappa, I worked in the radio/TV broadcast industry as producer/host, cultivating and learning the true art of conversations. By early 2000 I was ready to take my leap into the entrepreneurial journey.I was Founder & President of JH2 Group Inc, a multi-media company, from March 2005 to December 2014. My role as President included innovating, developing and launching Celebrity Fastcard, creating a credible destination site, before transforming the product into a retail brand and successfully entering the retail market place with the product across 235,000 retail stores worldwide. Here I come again, in 2015, spearheading Yappa, an audio & video conversational tool enabling you and your audience to connect and engage with bloggers, publishers, broadcasters and their content in ways that text-based comments can’t deliver. Since launch in March 2019, the Yappa tool has already garnered major notoriety and is fast becoming the leader and first choice for publishers for audio and video interactions.
