In 2016 I started Orbit Heating and Cooling with my husband Travis, whose family has a long history in the HVAC industry. There are over 250 operating Heating, Cooling, & Ventilation businesses in the Portland Area at this time. The customer always has other options and competition is strong. Building this brand and carving out our place in a high-risk industry (one deeply rooted in the processes of the past) has been a challenge I've embraced. Our business has prospered - we have already acquired a sales excellence award and have been honored for our quality work. In an industry with some notoriety for unethical practices, we offer transparency, technology focus, and customer service excellence. I oversee operations day to day with my wonderful team. I am responsible for our branding, marketing, lead generation, partnerships, and more — as well as defining every touch point in the customer experience from contact to follow-up.

Accomplishments:Refreshed the look and usability of the Freightliner iPad sales tool; refocusing the truck feature-explorer and configurator for a deeper, more purpose driven experience. Concepted Smart Source, the companion mobile app with a focus on asset discovery, that has over 3.8k users who have shared over 25k assets, generating over 2.4k leads.Upleveled the Yogi tea site redesign with social integration, a User Generated Content strategy, and a mobile optimized recommendation feature; resulting in 64% more traffic from social, 17% new followers, and 28% increase in #yogitea posts over 12 months.Responding to lackluster analytics, devised and implemented a natural language search solution and SEO strategy for Daimler Trucks North America Jobs (DTNA.jobs) resulting in a 61% session duration increase, a 48% bounce rate reduction, and a 234% improvement in page views.Spearheaded internal portal strategy and rebrand for Daimler Trucks North America HR. This friendly experience was geo-targeted and personalized for frictionless information discovery, while staying fresh with user-generated content. The site launch surpassed expectations with a 3:40 average session duration and over 20k sessions per month.Envisioned and brought to life a cloud-based asset management system (with companion mobile app) which included intuitive workflows for an incentivized approval process, content organization, and publishing.

FuneralNet was a pioneer in bringing technology solutions to the funeral industry and helped funerary businesses focus their brands for online and utilize technology for online arrangement planning, internet memorials, and more. I worked with hundreds of small businesses every year to leverage digital — critical when corporate competition and consolidation are forcing the closure of family-run funeral homes that have been in business for over a hundred years.
