Recruited by this global tech firm to continue in position at UBM Canon (see previous employer) after the media company moved the production of their publications to an off-shore division of HCL. Wrote procedural manuals and produced style guides to aid in the transition. Traveled to Chennai, India to provide training and support and acted as a domestic design lead and mentor to the overseas creative staff. Also continued to art direct Packaging Digest and Med Ad News magazines and act as in-house photographer/stylist for UBM Canon’s publications.

In role as art director for an international media company, provided design for magazines, supplements, digital editions plus brand related marketing e-mail and banner ads. Creative contributions resulted in “Maggie” nominated publications by the Western Publishing Association. Also acted as design lead on high-level corporate branding projects; prepared cost estimates for senior management for proposed vendors as well as researched talent for creative assignments for illustration and photography; worked with management to research and acquire photographic equipment for the company studio; produced in-house photography and styling for magazine covers and features, trade show events and corporate web site; provided concepts, recording, editing and motion graphics for internal corporate video and for UBM Canon’s clients.

Consulting front-end developer for the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery. Built site from original design comps provided by Y Design Studio and updated and maintained site content. Also built a custom version of the site that currently runs on Wordpress.
