I was invited back to captain several large projects and provide design consultation for commercial and residential projects.- Consulted on materials and furniture selection for 2 level, 2250sf midtown bar/restaurant. Managed crew of 5 onsite to execute decorative paint and plaster finishes on walls and ceilings.- Created 3D renderings and presentation boards for a 50,000sf hospitality design project proposal.- Managed crew of 5 onsite to execute a 5-week restoration of 5th Ave commercial building lobby which included metallic glazing of 2-story wall of original 1870’s metal screen work and stone-look glazing of detailed ceiling moldings.

Recruited as a design and sales assistant for ICFF trade show and role was quickly expanded to include assistance in creative direction, brand development and textile design.- Designed company’s 200sf trade show booth for ICFF in 2013 and 2014, an annual industry show with 32,000 visitors that generates hundreds of actionable leads for the company. Coordinated the installation and load out of the furniture and worked the booth during the show.- Lead research, planning, creative direction on the re-design of the company website to achieve a fresh, modern look that reflects the brand and would appeal to architectural clients. (as yet unrealized)- Collaborated with the principal on the design of new bent plywood chair and the re-design of 2 table/soft seating products. Created related technical drawings and 3D renderings for manufacturing and marketing.

Created beautiful, personalized interiors for private clients in New York & Miami, as well as trade show booths for commercial clients, and product design collections (in development). As the only full time employee, I embraced a variety of design roles over the life cycle of a project including: space planning; sourcing furniture, fabrics & lighting; creating rendered 3-D presentation drawings; creating construction sets; interfacing with clients & vendors; organizing & updating project binders.- Collaborated with principal on concept generation, planning, and selection of luxury materials and fixtures for a $60,000 East Hampton Master Bathroom renovation. Created 3D renderings and a full construction set for the project that featured natural stone tile walls, a soaking tub with separate shower and custom millwork.- Led initial planning, material, fixture, and lighting selection for gut renovation of Master Bath, Guest Bath, and Kitchen facelift. Delivered mood boards that reflected client’s preference for a modern, minimal space incorporating organic elements that started project on strong footing. - Added value to firm by identifying and taking on additional responsibilities including creating marketing materials and writing blog posts.

Helped the visual merchandising team to create visual displays, install window displays, and dress mannequins for grand opening of Time Warner Center and Flatiron stores. Assisted in creation and installation of holiday window displays at Roosevelt Field, Garden State Plaza, Westchester, Flatiron, and Soho stores.- Created two 15 ft. long displays of C. Wonder product in Flatiron pop-up store- After successfully assisting on initial projects, given responsibility for creating and installing 12+ holiday visual displays throughout Soho (Flagship) and Flatiron stores.

Apprenticed with the 2 owners/master painters to learn decorative paint finishes including glazing, stenciling, marbling, gilding, and Venetian plaster. Designed and executed murals for residential clients. - Taking inspiration from the client's travel photos, designed and executed a 360 degree grisaille landscape on venetian plaster for the foyer of a private Manhattan residence.- Designed and executed a colorful 4- wall cartoon and storybook-inspired children's bedroom mural.- Restoration of faux stone work at the Regis Hotel (original work done by others)

Assisted a busy Corporate Interiors team with projects in all phases of design. Created construction drawings including fixture schedules, floor plans, and elevations. Specified furniture, ordered material samples, and updated furniture specification book. Completed site visits for Construction Administration.- Suggested revising a commercial office pantry furniture plan to add table & chairs and sourced necessary additional furniture. Revised plan was approved by client.- Worked with Project Architect to create Construction Administration punchlist for 44,000sf corporate office.- Under tight deadline, helped to create diagrammatic plans for schematic design presentation to a Fortune 500 company client.

Working directly under the museum's Asistant Curator, coordinated an exhibition of European watercolors from the permanent collection.
