A Craig's List ad lead to so much more in 2015 when lead singer Scott Mclaughlin went looking for local players. The result was the Scotty Mac Band which quickly turned into a band with regional success and opening slots for national touring acts like Brett Young, Tyler Farr, Phil Vassar, Lee Brice, Parmalee and Chase Rice. Fronting his self-titled band, Scott released his first EP, Messin’ Around in 2016, and his sophomore EP called Love In A Truck in 2018, and three new singles in 2021. All stylistically blends the pop hooks and driving sound of contemporary country while retaining the story telling and instrumentation of the classic country roots he grew up on.
