The East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) was launched on 6 November 2006. It aims to protect migratory waterbirds, their habitats and the livelihoods of people dependent upon them. There are currently 39 Partners including 18 national governments, 6 intergovernmental agencies, 13 international NGOs, 1 international organisation and 1 international private enterprise.The Partnership provides a flyway wide framework to promote dialogue, cooperation and collaboration between a range of stakeholders to conserve migratory waterbirds and their habitats. Stakeholders include all levels of governments, site managers, technical institutions, UN agencies, development agencies, industrial and private sector, academe, non-government organisations, community groups and local people. EAAFP Partners work together to develop Flyway Site Network to ensure the internationally important wetlands are sustainably managed. It works to enhance research, monitoring, information exchange as well as CEPA (communication, education, participation, awareness) of conservation of migratory waterbirds and their habitats. It enhances capacity building on management and develop flyway-wide conservation approaches.

I contract services delivering a variety of compliance services, human resource matters, disputes, business development, and governance processes. I actively establish and source funding, as well as carrying out an international scoping study. I conduct regular research and engagement to develop frameworks and guidelines for sustainable habitats across the Pacific and East Asia. I manage the administration, compliance, and finances of the company.Key Contributions:• I expanded globally in an entirely different field.• I ensured consistent high-quality compliance.

I collaborate with the community, the principal, and trustees to deliver strategic leadership and guidance to the school, ensuring best possible outcomes for all students who are unable to attend usual school due to physical and /or mental health concerns or in secure care or youth justice facilities. I develop and review policies, respond to legislative changes, administer financial analysis, and monitor student progress with particular attention to Māori learners undertaking professional development.Key Contributions:• I have established effective responses to the new Education Act.• I was appointed to the role due to my extensive experience in governance, including: ◦ Training in governance to safely execute education and educational governance change. ◦ Enhanced governance processes: keeping focus on governance, ensuring reporting is against strategic direction, developing skills matrix and board professional development programme.

I spearhead projects that bring about strategic change, from ideation through to implementation in addition to identifying prospective government officials, academics and professionals, Iwi Māori and Māori communities, workshops NGOs, philanthropists, and convene national conferences, as well as develop and cultivate strategic relationships. I recognise opportunities to lead, and publish research in addition to managing Trust administration, securing funding and progress reporting, compliance, and accounting.Key Contributions:• I successfully led a wide ranging scoping study and attained government funding to oversee a project with the Māori communities supporting rangatahi from Youth Court.• I conducted and published research highly regarded within the sector (locally and globally).• I established and maintained trusted relationships with Iwi Maori and Māori communities.• I positioned the strategic importance of trust within industry.

My role was to provide advice on good governance and support for setting up efficient and effective processes for the IEB Secretariat to service the Climate Change Executive Board and Climate Response Minister group:- Advising on best practice governance, lessons learned from similar arrangements.- Advising on improving governance systems and processes.- Mentor analyst.- Advising on appropriate risk governance for the Board.Secretariat's function is to coordinate implementation of cross-agency actions and strategies on climate change, including the implementation of the national adaptation plan (NAP) and emissions reduction plan (ERP). It monitors, reports and advises the Climate Response Ministers Group on progress at the sector and economy wide level. The unit is also responsible for: • Developing and implementing a reporting framework to measure progress against committed actions in the NAP• Leading production of reports to the Board on the Prime Minister's key priority areas in the ERP and provide support the production of the next six monthly progress report.• Designing a risk management framework for the Board.• Supporting the development of advice to Board on an adaptive management approach on any required changes to policy to stay on-track to meeting emissions budgets and climate adaptation outcomes.• Assessing and advising on relevant international and domestic trends in mitigation that are both opportunities and challenges for our emissions Budgets.• Leading the delivery of follow up actions arising from the Board's first six monthly report on ERP progress.• Building relationships with key agencies to ensure the IEB is on top of and can influence key work programmes, such as climate innovation platforms.

Developed Guidelines and recommendations on the development of partnerships within the EAAFP for the conservation of migratory waterbirds, their habitats and to support national implementation of the EAAFP Strategic Plan 2019 – 2024. Review existing EAAFP programmes - assess strengths, weakness and ambitions for the future of the Flyway including surveys, webinars, and/or interviews with people across the Flyway. Collate “lesson learnt” from similar international programmes, supported as required with language and culture with the Secretariat. Report regularly and collaborate with Secretariat staff to finalise the guidance documentsfor Meeting of Flyway Partners.

I provided legal services for clients in relationship property, wills, and enduring powers of attorney. I led and built systems and processes with specific focus on all aspects of human resources, including salaries, appraisal, and professional development, guaranteeing flexible family friendly office. I provided support for specialist lawyers with planning, engaging 3rd party cloud-based platforms, regular meetings, problem solving, and office procedures, in addition to having mentored interns and office staff. I actively executed an AML compliance programme required by the new legislation. I designed bilingual promotional material to meet the community's needs.Key Contributions:• I developed policies and procedures from scratch for successful new businesses.• I established a family friendly law firm.• I have set up compliance processes and systems for new legislation for anti-money laundering ( A theme which I did for the Crown agency and as leader of department in education).
