Jen is a Solutions Engineering Consultant within Strategy and Analytics at Deloitte Consulting and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley (with a double emphasis on business analytics and social policy/law). Given her expertise in both strategy and data science, she provides a unique perspective on the intersection of business and technology. Jen is a data scientist and business analyst who helps clients solve complex problems using data-driven insights and innovative solutions. At Deloitte, Jen currently serves one of the largest multinational technology companies and drives product, marketing strategy, and business intelligence for a suite of B2B products. Jen spent one year as an Innovation Resident at Deloitte Catalyst in New Business Innovation, where she focused on creating and testing new hybrid businesses and tech-enabled assets for the financial services industry. She also spent a year serving a leading social media TMT client on their Cloud Infrastructure team managing FP&A and analytics and dashboarding. She is a value driven and analytical team leader who strives to deliver high-quality results and value to her clients and stakeholders.Jen has a diverse and extensive professional experience across various industries and both the private and public sector. She has previous professional experience as a Portfolio Analytics Group Summer Analyst at BlackRock, Risk Analytics Intern on HBO Max’s Fraud Management team, and as a Data Science/Research Assistant at UC Berkeley’s City and Regional Planning Department.She is passionate about financial technology, blockchain technology, machine learning, urban analytics, and social policy. She has high proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, Tableau, and various data science and machine learning tools and frameworks. She has various knowledge across multiple fields such as data science, data pipelines, machine learning, consulting, project management, asset management, design thinking and human computer interaction, urban analytics, and social policy.She is also an alumni of Rewriting the Code, Built by Girls, CS KickStart, and Girls Who Code. Her interests include, but are not limited to: financial technology, blockchain technology, machine learning, data analytics, data engineering, asset management, nonprofit and equal education opportunities, diversity and inclusion in STEM, volunteering, photography, and espresso.
