Family Service Worker, Child Protection•Develop on-going service plans for risk reduction and intervention for children and families•Conduct joint Child Abuse investigations with York Regional Police as per the York Region Child Abuse and Assault Protocol,•Conduct investigations for on-going child protection cases where there have been new allegations of risk and/or harm so as to ensure the safety of children•Bring selected cases to Family Court for the protection of children•Supervise access visits between children and caregivers as required•Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients with the objective to reduce risk of harm to children
