I am a marketing veteran and proud parent of a 18-year-old transgender daughter named Chazzie, a gift that inspired me to help launch a movement intent on shedding light on the gender identity conversation. Tapping my skills and connections in 25+ years of global marketing, we launched The GenderCool Project in February, 2018. Our mission? Replace misinformed opinions with positive experiences meeting transgender and non-binary youth who are thriving. The GenderCool Project has been covered internationally by media including: Rolling Stone; The TODAY Show; New York Times; USA Today; People Magazine; Forbes; ABC News; NBC News; Teen Vogue; Huffington Post; Pink News; and Yahoo Life. More than 43 countries across continents engaged with the launch.The corporate world is now partnering with The GenderCool Project to bring our powerful, positive messaging to employees and stakeholders across the globe, helping to enact positive change in the workplace. We are honored to partner with Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, the premier global organization convening business leaders intent on progressing LGBTQ equality in the workplace. Our corporate partners include Dell Technologies, Nike, Amazon, GAP Inc. , Accenture, VMware, US Steel, Electronic Arts, and HP. Several new Fortune 100 company partnerships are slated for 2024 and beyond. I am regularly called upon by the White House to contribute to discussions centered on policy to protect and support transgender and non-binary youth in this country. I am also on the front line of school policy work for gender inclusive schools in Illinois and across the nation. Additional speaking engagements include: ABC National News panel with Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang; Out & Equal Workplace Summit; Northwestern University and the American Academy of Pediatrics annual convention. Prior to founding The GenderCool Project, I had a thriving communications consultancy, supporting brands such as McDonald's, Netflix, Starbucks and Allstate. My battlefield training was at global PR giant Edelman Worldwide where I rose to senior vice president/group head.I am a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor of science from the school of journalism. I am fluent in Spanish and a medaled triathlete and marathoner.
