Jennifer is a connector of strategy, ideas and people who enjoys bringing her purpose-driven leadership style to complex problems. She is an experienced policy adviser who has led diverse teams to deliver nationally significant strategies, policy and legislation. Jennifer is a technology geopolitics expert who has contributed frequently to public policy debate on foreign policy, national security, and economic security issues. Her doctoral research at the ANU supported by a Sir Roland Wilson Scholarship examines the role of US allies in US-China competition for technology advantage using case studies of 5G and semiconductors. During her time as a Non-Resident Fellow in the Foreign Policy and Defence Program at the United States Studies Centre she published widely read reports on AUKUS and defence innovation. Jennifer was named as a Woman to Watch by Young Australians in International Affairs in 2022 and won the Joan Uhr Prize in 2021 for her public policy research.
