A Better Source (abettersource.org) is a free and public directory of environmentally conscious resources for graphic designers and businesses with an emphasis on print, packaging, and branding needs. Alongside the resource listings are educational articles on topics such as circular design, bioplastic, and composting. A Better Source is in part supported by widespread volunteer efforts thanks to a dedicated following of environmentally minded individuals and businesses.

Founded upon the simple notion that design is best used for good, we collaboratively work with clients to bring forth positive change. Whether it’s giving visual voice to cannabis activists through editorial design, creating coffee packaging to have a smaller environmental footprint, or simply using our craft in support of fellow artists, design is undoubtably a powerful tool to make small differences around us.

Served as the primary creative lead for the Ouur Collection, an apparel and home goods collection created by the same team behind Kinfolk Magazine. Primary responsibilities included developing the concept and visual direction each season, working closely with the Tokyo-based design and merchandising team to ensure all designs were on-point for the brand and seasonal concept, overseeing quarterly sample checks, art directing the campaign photography, and designing all accompanying print and digital materials.

Oversaw all visual content for Kinfolk Issues 10 and 11, concepted original features both short and long-form, directed and coordinated the work of over 50 contributing photographers and illustrators from around the world, managed all retouching and preproduction work for each issue, and designed various print and digital projects beyond the magazine to help extend the brand.

Served as a print and digital designer for the Procter and Gamble’s London Olympic campaign in the years leading up it and on the ground in London. Additional design work was also done for W+K's smaller clients and initiatives such as TEDxPortland, Laika Films and artist Daniel Johnston.
