I served within the Filmed Entertainment Division of IMAX providing strategic direction and oversight for national and international publicity while overseeing a Publicity Assistant and Intern.✏ I acted as the direct liaison between all major studios and their domestic and international publicity counterparts to ensure the IMAX brand was included in talent messaging, special screenings, and events. I partnered with internal teams, regional offices, and PR agencies to identify strategic opportunities for growth, was a key player for IMAX involvement with ComicCon and other trade shows, and I promoted IMAX on national entertainment shows including Good Morning America, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Today Show, and The Ellen Show. ✏ I oversaw and coordinated all aspects and day-of logistics for red carpet premieres, junkets, press days, talent and media tours, and targeted media events. I hired the crews and production companies, selected the venues, worked with catering and car service vendors, created the invitations, setup photo walls and step and repeat banners, hired security, developed the media tip sheets, and selected press to attend events. Some of my key accomplishments include:☑ I worked directly with the IMAX Theatre technical group and Paramount and Disney studio teams to build on-location pop-up IMAX theatres for multiple events including the release of Transformers 5 at the Chicago Civic Opera House, Star Trek: Beyond at Comic Con, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the Royal Albert Hall in London. ☑ I collaborated with NASA, the Russian Space Agency, and the European Space Agency to release the documentary film premiere for A Beautiful Planet. I overcame language and project clearance barriers to generate significant traction for the documentary, I traveled to press tours in New York City and Washington D.C. with the astronauts and film crew, and I had the privilege of working directly with highly regarded Director, Toni Myers.

I served in a highly collaborative role to generate consumer/trade awareness for the Fox Filmed Entertainment Group, MGM Home Entertainment, acquisitions, made-for-DVD productions, children’s titles, and campaigns. I drove all aspects of the talent event coordination and corresponding marketing collateral for each tour.» I acted as a strategic publicity partner with internal departments to drive product, and I developed all materials while maintaining budget control for press releases, electronic press kits, talking points, and bios.» I conceptualized and orchestrated large scale red carpet events, satellite media tours, PR stunts, in-house unit publicity, and junkets. I was accountable for cultivating positive relationships with talent to achieve successful events and drive home entertainment sales.» I managed multiple North American PR agencies for the LGBT, Hispanic, Faith, Online, College, Urban, Grassroots, and Street teams. Noted project involvement includes:🎬 I achieved massive publicity exposure for the 25th Anniversary Edition of The Princess Bride by spearheading all aspects of publicity for the home entertainment release. I brought Billy Crystal, Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Carol Kane, Wallace Shawn, and Director Rob Reiner together for a screening and Q&A at Alice Tully Hall in New York City, and escorted Cary Elwes on a personal NYC press tour.🎬 I was a key team member for the 50th Anniversary release of West Side Story. I worked directly with Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and Russ Tamblyn, and orchestrated the Los Angeles red carpet premiere and hand and foot print ceremony at the Chinese Theatre.🎬 I worked with Dick Van Dyke for the release of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.🎬 Additional publicity projects included the Tooth Fairy 2 with Larry the Cable Guy, Flicka: Country Pride with Clint Black, Little Angels with Roma Downy, and Wrong Turn 5: Bloody Beginnings.

Proud to be part of the Disney team where I was accountable for supervising the strategic execution of the North American publicity campaigns for record-setting home entertainment releases from Walt Disney Pictures, Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Miramax, and DisneyToon Studios.
