I joined SJL Attorney Search LLC in 2009 after a successful career as a legal recruiter at another national firm. In 2014, I became the firm's first Partner and, after overseeing the firm's Partner Practice Group, assumed the role of Managing Partner in 2016. In this capacity, I focus my energies on more senior level projects which enable me to have greater long term impact from both a client and candidate perspective. Prior to transitioning to a career as a legal recruiter, I practiced for 11 years in New York, first as an associate with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison and later as a corporate attorney at King & Spalding. While my days of practicing are well behind me, I still retain a broad network from that aspect of my career and a deep understanding of the legal practice, law firm administration and the various factors that people must consider when contemplating other opportunities.I graduated, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law in 1993 and from Cornell University in 1989. When not working, I relish spending time with my teenage boys and the dog they begged me to get but now ignore.
