While I have worked in large metropolitan cities and small east coast communities, most of my career has centered on the development and change in rust belt cities of Northeast Ohio. The work of DMI strives to develop the community through realistic & preservation based planning initiatives implemented simultaneously with marketing and event programming to ensure enthusiasm!! With neighborhoods and commercial districts working together, the work of DMI is like no other organization of it's kind. DMI continues to be a leader in it's field, understanding and predicting market activity and relating it to scale for communities so they can be proactive in the face of economic change. In addition to my work at DMI, I was a contributing author to "Why This Work Matters," an author and editor for MidOhioLive, Mansfield News Journal and contributed to both statewide and national blogs for economic development and business trends.
