Jen has more than 25 years of experience at leading platforms and publishers, including Facebook, Yahoo!, Tumblr, and BuzzFeed. As a seasoned strategist and team builder, she has advised top global brands on digital and social media strategies and campaigns, and has helped define Emergent’s vision for and approach to branded content.At BuzzFeed, Jennifer was the SVP of US Client Partnerships where she oversaw a team of Vertical Leaders, as well as the Mid Market, Account Management and Agency Partnership Teams in the US. Currently Jennifer is the Chief Business Officer and Head of Brand Partnerships at Emergent Media, a company she co-founded, leading all aspects of the business operations, strategy and revenue.Her passion for the digital media industry and supporting young women and girls, led her to advisory roles with ThinkLA, Launch a Mentorship program for women at BuzzFeed LA and served as the Co-Lead of the Social Emotional Learning Committee for her local Unified School District serving seven K-12 public school sites from 2020-2022.Jennifer began her career in NYC working for several publishing companies including Meredith Corporation and Working Woman Magazine. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
