Manager, Student Finance Online
CurrentManages and coordinates the delivery of financial aid services for the DeVry Online Services division. Recommends policies and procedures and coordinates logistics and workflow to ensure the effective delivery of services to students. Oversees and leads five Team Leads who supervise a staff of 8-14 Financial Aid Advisors. Hires, evaluates, mentors staff members on an ongoing basis. Monitors operations of employees and enforces compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and Home Office regulations. Conducts quality assurance by monitoring phone calls and written communication. Answers staff and student questions regarding financial aid matters. Additionally, resolves student financial aid inquiries or complaints that cannot be handled by advisors.Notable Contributions: • Prepares and delivers mid-year and annual performance evaluations for staff members and assists with professional development opportunities to enhance effectiveness of team members. • Provides ongoing training to employees to ensure they have the appropriate training and resources they need to provide accurate and efficient resolution to questions or concerns from students and internal business partners. • Ensures center expectations are met which includes service levels agreements and outstanding customer service. • Focuses on teambuilding in order to foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging work environment.
