TC provided ongoing opportunities with XMPie, prepress workflows, graphic design and data. I worked directly with both large and small companies providing in store marketing material. Typical work included building templates using XMPie, editing and exporting files using Adobe Suite applications, and submitting files to production. This role helped to improve my skills of quality assurance, communication, time management and efficiency.

At Milestones, I held positions as a Host, Expeditor, Pantry Cook, and Server. These roles taught me time management, collaboration, and project management. I created training guides and daily checklists to improve productivity and efficiency in the restaurant. Milestones was an excellent place for both professional and personal growth.

Continuous Occasions is a small business I started during COVID to help provide signature gifts for every occasion. It was something for me to explore my entrepreneurial skills and expand on the industry knowledge gained from my studies and work experience. My responsibilities included updating product photography, creating digital and social media content, designing packaging, handling customer service, and managing orders and purchases.

During the summer months as an intern and associate at AIIM, I gained experience with XMPie, print production workflows, and customer communications. I worked on projects for both large and small companies within direct mail. During my part-time role, my tasks mainly included building templates using XMPie, uProduce, and uStore. AIIM provided an opportunity to learn and grow in the print industry and sparked my passion for variable data.

Northern Gifts Ltd. has offered significant opportunities and growth in the gift and souvenir industry. As a Sales Associate at trade shows, my tasks included interacting with potential customers, meeting with other vendors, handling paperwork, and setting up and tearing down the booth. This role allowed me to learn sales techniques from industry professionals and develop my interpersonal and organizational skills.I also held a graphic design position at Northern Gifts Ltd., where I created and edited catalogs, order forms, label designs, and business stationery. This experience allowed me to explore new passions within sales and design while growing in a new industry.
