Joined startup team to lead government relations, communications, and community engagement efforts for the rollout of new clean energy service to 3 million people and businesses in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

Spearheaded WRCOG’s efforts to strengthen relationships with local governments, foster new partnerships with leaders from the public and private sectors, and actively represent WRCOG in advocacy, issue, and business forums.Innovated, developed, and launched urban/regional sustainability planning initiatives for western Riverside County, including a $4 million local assistance funding program that enables municipalities to implement sustainability, economic development, transportation, and healthy communities projects. Administer a Public Service Fellowship program in partnership with two local universities.Monitored and crafted responses to state and federal legislative actions and local policy initiatives that impact WRCOG, and communicate WRCOG’s mission and program goals to a variety of audiences through a multi-faceted media platform.Produced multiple events, including a major (700+ attendees) political leadership conference, educational workshops, and forums related to public policy, sustainability, transportation, homelessness, planning, health, water, and other regional issues each year.

Managed WRCOG’s government relations and sustainability planning programs, including consultant contracts for water quality and stormwater management, public health, and climate action planning.Fostered relationships with elected officials, business leaders, and community influencers from jurisdictions throughout western Riverside County.Coordinated monthly meetings of Planning Directors, Community Development Directors, and other local government staff to discuss important issues affecting the region and produced a variety of larger events, conferences, and educational workshops on behalf of WRCOG.Monitored state and federal legislative actions and local initiatives relevant to WRCOG and its member agencies, and researched and pursued grant opportunities to conduct studies and implement programs that benefit WRCOG and its member agencies.

Facilitated, in coordination with the Executive Director and consultants, the development and implementation of WRCOG’s sustainability planning and government relations program activities. Contributed to several award-winning planning initiatives at WRCOG related to transportation, economic development, and climate action planning. Coordinated fundraising and logistics for WRCOG's major (700+ attendees) annual political leadership conference.

Conducted corporate sustainability and social responsibility reporting for major industry sectors across the U.S. utilizing the Pacific Sustainability Index rating tool. Assessed various corporations' level of commitment to environmental and social performance metrics within diverse industry sectors, and reviewed their performance in published reports.
