A seasoned entrepreneur with two decades of experience, I've navigated the ever-evolving landscape of business growth and digital marketing. My diverse career has spanned advertising, blogging, food tours, and marketing agencies, always with a relentless pursuit of purpose and a drive to make a meaningful impact.I’m an award-winning food & travel blogger and have been blogging since 2006. I sold my first blog, I Ate My Way Through in 2021 after growing the blog from an online food diary into a celebrated online publication with a team of 20+ contributors and a loyal readership; I Ate My Way Through attracted over 8 million page views and hosted 5,000+ people to explore new cuisines and cultures in our walking food tours and community events across Sydney. My decade-long leadership of The Bamboo Garden, a digital marketing & PR agency, further solidified my expertise in strategy, team management, and client success.Having successfully exited both ventures, I've transitioned into empowering fellow entrepreneurs, creators, and business leaders. With a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, and guiding organisations across diverse industries and growth stages, I offer a wealth of real-world experience and a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive in today's competitive landscape.I believe in making a difference in every little way I can; I volunteer as a Primary Ethics teacher and I'm also the Sustainability Lead in my local primary school's P&C committee. In my spare time, you'll find me over at Print and Play Studio, where I illustrate printables that inspire mindful parenting and embrace play-based learning. I'm also working on a passion project called Bond Beyond, a feel-good conversation app to help people to bond beyond surface level chat. You can read about my family’s slow & intentional living journey at On The Slow Lane, or subscribe to my parenting newsletter: Mama Has Got This.

Publisher & Founding EditorI Ate My Way Through Jun 2006 - Jul 2021Sydney, AustraliaI was the appetite behind I Ate My Way Through – one of Australia’s first and longest running food/travel blogs. From its humble beginnings as a personal documentation of restaurants I’d eaten at, I grew IAMWT to become an online destination for food insights and insider tips on the best places to eat/travel. We were a team of 20+ tour guides and contributors. In 2013, after overhauling the blog’s redesign and Wordpress migration from Movable Type, we were crowned Food Blog Of The Year at the Pedestrian Blogster Awards, a prestigious recognition which judged us on creativity and originality of content, technology and innovation, overall design and presentation, and audience engagement. At its height, IAMWT received a readership of over 60,000 uniques per month, had a newsletter subscriber list of over 2,500 hungry readers, and a strong 25,000+ social media following on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. I was also the co-chairman of the Australian Food Bloggers Conference in 2011 in which I sourced sponsorships for, organised, and facilitated an event for 100 delegates.Connecting online media with real offline experiences, I Ate My Way Through was also renowned as one of Sydney’s leading food tour operators and event organisers, and was regularly featured in the media as Best Food Tours in Sydney. We regularly collaborated with Destination NSW to showcase the culinary diversity of Sydney. Career highlights include being on the cover of The Daily Telegraph's food section, eating on TV on Sydney Weekender and getting flown to Singapore to eat!In July 2021, IAMWT was acquired by fellow food blogger, Janice Fung. -
