Municipal advisor that provides strategic and technical advice to California school and community college districts on the issuance of general obligation bonds, certificates of participation, special tax bonds, bond anticipation notes, refundings/refinancings, and tax and revenue anticipation notes. Total advisory experience to date for California K-14 issuers: >$7 billion in par.Duties include (but not limited to):- Advise issuers in establishing a plan of financing including the structure, timing, and other terms including estimated costs of issuance and savings summary (if refunding)- Structure issuances as part of larger programs and analyze cashflows - Assist in the gathering of information with respect to financial, statistical and factual information relating to issuer in connection with the preparation and review of legal documentation- Review the order book and advise on the acceptability of the underwriter’s pricing and offer to purchase in a negotiated sale- Assist issuer in collecting, analyzing and verifying bids submitted by underwriters, resizing the financing as necessary and confirming the terms with the winning bidder in a competitive sale- Prepare and present materials to national credit ratings agencies and bond insurers- Attend and present at internal District meetings and public Board meetings- Lead annual continuing disclosure filings and material event filings- Lead annual California Debt and Investment Advisory Commission reporting
