Manages content and executive contributors for Security Current. Written by CISOs and other security executives, Security Current is transforming the way security, privacy and risk executives around the world collaborate to protect their organizations and their information.

Responsible for the development of corporate messaging, branding, marketing and communications/media strategies for both T.E.N. and its newly launched sister company, ISE® Talent; serve as primary medial liaison for both T.E.N. and ISE® Talent; management of a small team that provides all social media and content delivery for T.E.N. and ISE® Talent, as well as relationships with vendors providing AV and production services, media distribution and mobile event app services; creation of marketing materials, email campaigns and recruitment messaging as well as promotional materials for events; development of dinner/roundtable/panel discussion content that aligns client offerings with industry hot topics and key challenges for productive conversations and networking opportunities; creation of scripts, AV run of show documents for award galas and executive forum/leadership summits; development of speaker lists and content for regional and international executive forums; management of the ISE® Award nominations in all regions and North America from recruitment and judging to relationship management and event delivery; assistance in onsite event delivery including management of onsite AV services, speakers, photography, social media, registration and set up; and also management of the CEO’s personal brand and visibility, including speaking opportunities and presentation creation.

As the manager of media relations, I assisted in the development of proactive public/media relations campaigns that support the strategic positioning of Georgia Southern University. I served as a liaison with the media, a university spokesperson and writing support for university publications.

Responsibilities: Managed public information and media relations for the university's strategic communication initiatives; wrote press releases and targeted news stories to local and regional media; developed and maintained relationships with media; provided writing support for marketing and University Advancement; created content for and edited alumni publications; provided photography services as needed; developed and managed content for the VSU homepage, News Website and related websites; and provided leadership for the Web Editorial Board. Also managed interns, student workers and graduate assistants, and provided guidance as they developed content for media, the VSU website and various publications.

Conducted research and interviews in order to develop content for the Sunday Business Section; developed the Focus On column, a weekly article that spotlights a new, locally-owned and operated business. Also wrote real estate and public interest features, and assisted in crime and general news reporting as needed.
