I lead painting classes for a variety of customers.

I work with faculty, staff, and students to identify, analyze, and explore technology needs of the university. I design and deliver in-person and online workshops in support of teaching and learning tools. The main tool that our team supports is the Learning Management System, Brightspace. I also serve as the primary contact for Variate, a Purdue tool designed for high level STEM assessments.

2019 4-H Individual Programming Award Recipient As an Extension Educator with 4-H Youth Development, I worked with volunteers to provide educational programming and build life skills for youth in grades K-12. I helped to screen and train volunteers to prepare them to work with members in the program. I spent extensive time learning about STEM education tools and developing programs to teach youth about science, technology, and computer coding. I also collaborated with other educators to plan larger scale programs such as 4-H Camp, Strengthening Families, State 4-H Junior Leader Conference, the 4-H Fair. I worked in 2 counties in Indiana with the 4-H program including Dubois and Tippecanoe counties.

My graduate assistantship was with the American Democracy Project (ADP). ADP is an multi-campus initiative to help students become more engaged citizens. As a part of my position, I helped to plan different events throughout the year that encourage political engagement. I also supervised undergraduates who also help to put on ADP events.

Lifetime Member Award Recipient 2014-2015 I served as a graduate assistant for Union Board as a part of my final practicum position for my Master's program. With Union Board, I helped to advise 3 student committees, served on the Scare Week planning committee in which I monitored the budget of $6,000, and provided additional student and staff support when needed.

I held a practicum position during the summer of 2014 in which I helped with New Student Orientation at Indiana State. As a summer practicum student, my job was to supervise student staff, guide new students and parents, plan orientation events, as well as administer & analyze assessments. In addition, I helped prepare, facilitate, and assess Fall Welcome events at the beginning of the year.

Saint Mary Of The Woods, Indiana

I held a practicum position at Saint Mary of the Woods College (SMWC) as a part of my graduate program at ISU. With this position, I designed and implemented training sessions to present to current tutors at SWMC. I worked with up to 40 different students within the Learning Resource Center to help prepare tutors. I created lesson plans for each session which were all put together in a file at the end of the semester for future use.

Newburgh, Indiana

I spent two years as a special education teacher at Castle High School. With this position, I gained experience teaching students, grades 9-12, Social Studies and Algebra. I modified assignments and created engaging activities to try and help my students learn. In addition, I consulted with a large caseload of up to 54 students with disabilities and their families each year. During lunch breaks, I would help tutor students who were struggling with Algebra. I also gained experience working with a student organization, Teen Power. I helped with some events, attended meetings, and served as an Adult staff member at Teen Power camp for 3 consecutive summers. I also mentored an at-risk student during the 2012-2013 school year to provide additional support and guidance
