Used a Raspberry Pi to receive temperature readings from a Fluke t3000 FC Wireless Temperature Module hard wired to an Arduino with a WiFi shield. The Raspberry Pi forwarded realtime information to several clients: a Python based web server, a Qt desktop application, and even a Twitter account that allowed customers to set alerts and view graphical trends. Made a technology recommendation based on measurements of throughput of data, developer time to work with the stacks, and consumability of the protocol by the clients that continues to be used by Fluke.
