Created organization-wide healthcare and patient outreach strategy which increased donor acquisition. Developed data management protocol and reporting to track engagement and activation. Established relationships with oncologists, healthcare providers, media partners and patient advocacy groups.At the start of the pandemic I led patient engagement.

Managed East Coast Region to ensure budgets and organizational priorities were met. Hired, onboarded and managed a remote staff team. Tripled DIY fundraising program in one year.

• Developed a high performing community walk program with turnkey resources for volunteers to lead walks in a DIY fundraising model. I worked closely with senior leadership to improve productivity, cut operational costs.
• Achieved 141% of revenue goals in the first event cycle by providing excellent customer service to event organizers.
• Created a network of volunteer leaders to share fundraising ideas and best practices.

• Part of a special projects team responsible for spearheading a revenue diversification plan which included millennial, youth, DIY and endurance programing. Assessed industry trends, interviewed competitors and key.
• Centralized lead generation and data entry processes and created “in a box” toolkits resulting in a 40% reduction in staff time.
• Enrolled over 800 schools and raised $4 million annually within four years of program launch.
• Recruited and managed national school service organization accounts which raised $250,000 annually.

• Responsible for the development and growth of family and school-based fundraising programs representing an annual budget of $43 million. Created staff and volunteer training programs and facilitated sharing of best.
• Collaborated with Outreach Department to increase conversion of new constituents by 18%.

• Provided hands-on coaching for Executive Directors and development staff in 19 chapters representing an annual budget of $13 million. Identified markets that were underperforming and/or had high opportunity for growth..
• Increased net revenue by $2.3 million from FY06 through FY08.
• Led an underperforming region to exceed budget by 5% within 18 months of assuming role.

• Responsible for growth of chapter fundraising programs including the Charlotte Walk to Cure Diabetes, Hope Gala and Ride to Cure Diabetes programs. Partnered with board members and C-level business leaders to increase.
• Directly responsible for increasing Charlotte Walk to Cure Diabetes revenue from $1 million to $1.7 million within two years. This event was the third highest fundraising JDRF Walk in the country.
• Nominated Chapter of the Year in 2002.

• Secured relationships with physicians who referred their patients to me for specialized nutrition and exercise counseling. Conducted community diabetes and weight management classes. Taught courses at Central Piedmont.
• Built referral base of more than twenty physician practices and community partners through word-of- mouth advertising.

• Managed nutrition services for a 120-bed hospital, home care agency, cancer treatment center, long term care facility, wellness programs and hospice services. Responsible for staffing, budgeting and establishing.
• Instituted departmental standards and policies which resulted in successful JCAHO surveys.
