Jennifer Ordalen is a Minnesota based vocalist. Her unique, smokey, warm, bold, gritty voice has taken her to many venues throughout the country. From the Minnesota Music Cafe in St. Paul, MN to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson, WY. Her daring mix of 60’s soul, classic country and rock will be sure to grab your attention.Jennifer released her debut album ‘ Cracks in the Concrete’ in the spring of 2010. Although recorded in Nashville under the masterful direction of Eddie Gore, she chose to stay true to her roots and released the album in her home state of Minnesota. Cracks in the Concrete received rave reviews from the UK and Netherlands. The album also received a 4/5 star rating from acclaimed country magazine ‘Maverick’. A solid start to a promising career.Among recording Jennifer also helps to bring music of all types back to her hometown of Albert Lea, MN. She has joined with others in the community to start a summer festival called Wind Down Wednesday. The festival happens several times throughout the summer and focuses on art, food and music. As chair of entertainment she seeks out acts and performers to provide the festival with unique and tasteful music for the events. Wind Down Wednesday is now entering its 3rd year. It has become a real success in introducing local Minnesota based artists, chefs, musicians and visitors to the community!Jennifer strives to make her own special brand in the music industry while continuing to bring the “arts” to her hometown community.
