· Refining the movements and rotations of a real time hand tracking system that uses a colored glove and nearest neighbor approximation to cheapen motion capture techniques · Using jogl to smooth jitter from the rotation of a box controlled by the hand tracking system, experimenting with discretization and interpolation techniques - Implemented VAM- a video annotation motion capture system, a motion capture system that uses two web cameras, triangulates the points to find the coordinating 3D space and is mapped to a 3D character to create cheap and realistic animations

· Extended the phase I effort of the previous summer project into MAT (Model Analysis Toolkit), a piece of software that utilizes probabilistic systems and causal analysis to validate socio-political models (Summer 09) · Ported the Validation Analysis software from Protégé (a Stanford ontology-based software) into its own independent application and added additional causal analysis functionality (Summer 09) · Used C# to program an audio cue to alert soldiers of any minefields in their proximity

· Extracting data from Twitter to visually represent characteristics of users in order to better understand social networking.· Use Java, SQL, Maya, Python, and Processing to create visualizations of the daily rhythms of micro-blog postings by utilizing Voronoi Diagrams and Delaunay Triangulations
