    I was brought on as a dedicated project manager for a luxury e-commerce brand. The bulk of the onboarding work consisted of post-editing machine translated text so we could train a custom machine translation engine for their challenging content. We then transitioned to human UI and marketing translation, alongside raw MT for the back catalog. For my other clients I manage translations for UI/UX strings, software and its documentation, websites, brochures, and SRTs. I also am in charge of the sample translation program and assist in pre-sales quoting.In my PMO work I help manage company initiatives that range from testing new technology, to creating internal documentation, to being a point of contact for TMS training, to maintaining parts of the company intranet, and helping run our internal MT/AI education program.In 2024, I also added WordsOnline migration for legacy Acclaro clients to my plate.Work performed in XTM, Transifex, Lokalise, Phrase, and MemoQ.

    I managed an ever-changing roster of clients. This could mean onboarding a challenging new client, or taking over and repairing a damaged relationship with an existing client. Some clients remained with me long-term, and others got moved to more junior project managers once they were stabilized. I regularly onboarded new clients in Lionbridge proprietary systems, or, if requested, in a third-party system like Smartling or Memsource. And I was the go-to contact within the company for educating coworkers on how to use these third-party systems. I helped maintain client relationships by stepping in to have difficult conversations with them as needed, and then stepping back to let the junior members of the team move forward with that obstacle removed. I ran high-priority, fast-tracked test translations for potential new clients, and trained and mentored other project managers on the test translations team. In my day-to-day, I worked directly with clients to provide solutions for their translation, DTP, software, and multimedia needs; troubleshooting their translation, deadline, and technology issues; and delivering all requested reporting, from weekly status reports to QBR/ABR presentations. I managed cross-country and multinational teams of project managers, project coordinators, and technical specialists. I regularly reviewed translator pools to ensure that we balanced quality and spend while maintaining proper capacity. And I tracked finances on all projects to keep them profitable and to forecast future revenue based on client history and forecasts.Work performed in: Translation Workspace, Smartling, Memsource.

    I was part of a team that worked with one single client as the dedicated project manager for all projects coming out of that company's Waltham, MA office. I managed multiple translation projects at a time, from quoting through to final delivery. This involved negotiating turn times with internal teams (translations, engineering, desktop publishing), and helping them manage competing deadlines by client priority.
