Doubled sponsorship and grew membership by over 50 percent. Worked closely with Chinese students and program directors at Indiana universities and orchestrated fall job fair. Led a 14-day trip to China for Indiana business executives and assisted other communities and organizations with hosting events for Chinese delegations.The America China Society of Indiana (ACSI) is an independent non-profit organization focused on bridging the gap for companies wanting to do business in or with China through relationships, information and education.

CareersINsite was a grant-funded workforce development program that partnered with career services professionals at colleges and universities in Indiana and peripheral states, their IT, Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, and Logistics program students, and Indiana businesses to create awareness of opportunities and facilitate employment. Led team that conducted outreach to schools, businesses and students. Wrote grant requests and reports and met with numerous governmental officials.Position ended when grant funding was not renewed due to legislative change at State level.

Launched Ivy Tech's initial workforce certification program. Established non-credit computer certification courses (A+, N+, MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, etc.) by collaborating with admissions, career services and curriculum departments. Integrated certification objectives into credit-based programs. Established and oversaw certification testing centers and administered certification tests. Proctored GED exams.Program was grant funded through the State of Indiana and employment ended when grant funding ended.

Consultant, community liaison, and researcher. Worked with Goodwill, Lilly Endowment, Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), Duke Realty, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Indiana Technology Partnership, Indiana Information Technology Association (Now TechPoint), and other prestigious clients on numerous workforce-related initiatives. Coached colleges and universities in Indiana on qualifying for CAPE (Community Alliances to Promote Education) grant funding.
