My work over the past two decades has fueled a passion for helping those suffering from mental health and substance use disorders, across the entire continuum of prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery. I thrive professionally as a speaker, strategic thinker and developer, always considering the systemic and individual needs of those suffering with these issues. My position with the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention allows me to provide a backbone of support, resources, and connections to stakeholders across the state. As a seasoned public speaker and adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado at Denver, I currently provide training to audiences and students related to: prevention, substance use disorders, multicultural counseling, leadership, resilience, managing stress, nutrition, effective communication, and others.
