I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and 9 years as a Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in a variety of settings including Emergency Room and Home Care. As a Nurse Practitioner, I have experience in a community health center, CVS MinuteClinic, and as a Hospitalist at Morton Hospital. I worked with a varied population including the homeless and those with substance abuse issues. I cared for all ages experiencing acute illness, chronic disease, weight management, smoking cessation, and physicals. I love providing quality, patient focused care to each patient. It's the small things, the kind words, respect, dignity, and compassion that I hope my patients appreciate from my care that makes it all worthwhile. Most recently I have expanded my inpatient hospital care to the level 4 detox setting.The healthcare system is evolving and the future of insurance based care is uncertain. I provide medical weight loss, hormone therapy, men's health and women's health. I also offer DOT physicals, sports physicals and sick visits.
