Led, in collaboration with team members, the development and production of independent research on policy relevant issues in Massachusetts and nationally to to inform decision-making on public education systems. Managed a portfolio of research projects to surface effective practices in districts and schools meant to impact state and district policy decisions. Developed, in collaboration with the Rennie Center team, the annual Condition of Education in the Commonwealth report and event series to promote an annual review of key state-level indicators on Massachusetts public education systems. Managed a productive team of researchers and policy analysts. Presented research findings at numerous dissemination events designed for state- and district-level practitioners and decision-makers.

Collaborated with an external evaluation to team to conduct a randomized control trial of the implementation of ANet assessments, coaching and tools in schools in multiple states. Developed performance management tools and protocols to provide data on implementation of assessments and coaching services. Partnered with assessment consultants to capture data on assessment design.

Led multiple research and evaluation projects spanning diverse issues in secondary and postsecondary education, and college career readiness. Research focus on transitions between public education systems, and underserved populations. Collaborated with colleagues to produce winning proposals in response to federal, state and philanthropic solicitations, including a multi-year evaluation of early college high school models.

Managed teams postsecondary policy and research projects on institutional cost, student outcomes and time-to-degree trends for students. Developed, in collaboration with external evaluation team, an evaluation approach to document outcomes for a multi-state, postsecondary policy initiative, including conceptualizing outcomes management with internal team. Collaborated on initiative-wide strategy with organizations and foundation leaders. Led execution of multiple workplans with grantees and partner organizations.
