Worked with tribal chief to implement the Gathering of Women Indian Leaders of Oklahoma. Planned and implemented the inaugural event that brought together women tribal leaders to cultivate leadership and knowledge by providing a forum for sharing ideas, best practices, and lessons for overcoming challenges.Facilitated and hosted the event, leading discussions on strategizing ways to foster development, growth, and prosperity and integrating culture in the strengthening of their nations.Built a communication network between the tribal leaders to share ideas, resources, knowledge, and information between them.

Designed a multi-year, multi-district qualitative and quantitative impact evaluation which captured and analyzed the attitudes, perceptions, and satisfaction of providers and users of the community health worker program.Developed an internal qualitative program evaluation which sought to better understand maternal health behaviors and attitudes, perceptions, and satisfaction of providers and users of the community maternal and neonatal health program.Conducted research to improve knowledge and practices in providing community health, focusing on quality, utilization, access, and maternal and child health.

Managed the health, education, and child welfare portfolio, responsible for synthesizing and organizing nationwide tribal responses for policy issues related to these topics.Headed legislative efforts on issues related to general health and education, Medicare and Medicaid, substance abuse, mental health, No Child Left Behind implications in Indian Country, and child well-being.Drafted congressional testimony as it related to the aforementioned issues.Managed the state and tribal relations project which required coordination with organizational partners such as the National Conference of State Legislatures, the National Governor’s Association, and the National Association of Attorney Generals.
