I build the structures and rally the people that make it a reality.In my 20+ year career, I have administered the day-to-day realities and helped fulfill the long-term strategies of startup and established companies in the transportation, hospitality, and foodservice industries. My efforts have aided executive teams in achieving more than 130% revenue growth, while meeting ever increasing regulatory requirements and motivating staff to new levels of productivity and collaboration. As a central figure in the launch of two startups, I have overseen HR, customer service, safety, accounting, office management, and training functions. Currently trustee for a 7-figure estate of family members, I was the first hire and Corporate Secretary for Direct Connection Transport (DCT), assisting in its growth to an $8 million firm and then with its acquisition by Roadrunner Transportation Systems, where I continued as Senior Manager—HR & Claims for DCT. I worked as the right-hand of the DCT President and founder, often acting on his behalf in his absence.Among other successes, I was recognized for:~ Financial recordkeeping by the Roadrunner due diligence team who noted that no company they’d acquired had such accurate, transparent books. ~ Helping to preserve the DCT brand’s reputation for excellence in the food industry and mentoring incoming brokerage managers.~ Leading safety, accounting, and claims for up to 800 transportation loads per month, each valued at up to $250K. I am ready to take on new challenges as the sounding board, right-hand, and operations resource for an executive or executive team.
