• Recruits, screens, interviews and refers job candidates for openings primarily for the Outcomes Research Practice, as well as some other teams and practice areas within Global Evidence Services. Shares responsibility with Hiring Managers to ensure that the hiring process is compliant, timely and effective.• Confers with management in specified areas to identify job openings and process approved requisitions. Maintains a good understanding of the key components of positions within the area of responsibility and understands job specifications, qualifications, and skills required to fill open positions• Approves job descriptions, writes job postings and produces telephone screen questions. Posts positions internally and on the web in accordance with UBC policy• Reviews sources and resume flow to track effectiveness of advertising and postings. Uses Virtual Edge as primary administrative tool to search, source, track and respond to resumes effectively. Transmits pre-screened resumes to Hiring Managers for review.• Initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates and conducts telephone screens for specific job openings in a timely manner. Determines work history, job skills, and salary requirements and other pertinent details. Provides information about the organization and culture during interview. Transmits details of telephone screens to hiring manager. • Makes arrangements for face to face interviews with Hiring team. Ensures that all on-site interviews are well organized and effective. Solicits feedback on interviews as input to decision making. • Communicates regularly, both verbally and written reports, status of all position openings tracking metrics as established within the team
