Mathematics teacher at Stephen Decatur Middle School in Brooklyn. Primary responsibilities included lesson planning and implementation. The major goal was to increase student achievement by two grade levels in a single year, accomplished by vigorously diagnosing students' skills in mathematics and then tracking progress throughout the year. Complimentary responsibilities included managing relationships with parents and other educators as well as creating course work that adequately tested students' skills. Planned, organized and implemented conferences for the Center for Entrepreneurship, under Professor Sharon Alvarez. Responsible for all aspects of the conferences including travel arrangement and prepartory work.
