My love for education began in grade school. As a child of a single parent in a low, socio-economic environment, a familiar reality for many young students, my life could have taken a different route had it not been for a series of dedicated educators and supportive family who positively impacted my life. Through their help and support I discovered my path to a successful career. Today, I have the opportunity, as an administrator, to strive to change the trajectory of our students’ lives.I have had the privilege of witnessing many incredible transformations. Through our network of community-based, partnership and residential schools, BRAINATION is working to re-imagine global learning.We challenge traditional and outdated education formats such as the bell system and envision ways in which we can effectively prepare our students for their future whether it’s college, trade, military or a career yet to be conceived. We are creating rigorous, but thoughtful curriculum and challenging our students with an inquiry-based model. The bottom line—we are changing education and impacting lives every step of the way.I am proud to be part of this educational evolution as it makes strides toward truly altering the way children learn in K-12 classrooms around the world. #EducationReimagined
