Salisbury Vineyards was a family-run wine company in Avila Beach, California. Our award-winning wines were carefully crafted from grapes grown by our family in Avila Valley and Paso Robles. In 2001, we planted Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Cool Climate Syrah in the Avila Valley. We then took a dilapidated schoolhouse built in 1907 and restored it to its former glory and made it our tasting room. My husband, Kevin and I owned and managed a golf driving range and skateboard park in the Sacramento area. We hosted several high profile events to include ESPN's Tony Hawk's Gigantic Skateboark Tour in 2001. The property sold in early 2003 and then we made our way to California's Central Coast to start a winery.
