In order to minimize delay, I quickly researched and reached out to establish local vendors for weekly payroll processing, employment background and drug screening to minimize time off the job or delay in payroll. Once I had complete personnel files and screened employees, I reached out to the Teamsters, Laborers and Operators unions to introduce myself as a point of contact and invite them to our job site to be able to meet with our employees to ensure 100% union membership. On a weekly basis I verified time cards against the job log and then sent the hours to our payroll vendor for check processing and unions for membership tracking. In the process I worked both remotely and on-site as needed to ensure we had complete personnel files all new hires moving forward and to manage any employee discipline or relations issues.
