About Jennifer Bergmann

Making the transition from an industry professional to a Career and Technical Educator, my philosophy of instruction is all students are capable of learning if they have the proper motivation, direction, and a consistent level of support from their teachers. In the ever-changing world of work, it is essential to ensure all students are equally prepared for a career pathway incorporating post-secondary education college and career readiness through academic core mastery and 21st Century Skills attainment. As a teacher and trainer, I have taught both online and in-person and value the creative process of learning in both environments. My goal is always to be the facilitator of learning vs. the giver of information. Once I had complete personnel files and screened employees, I reached out to the Teamsters, Laborers and Operators unions to introduce myself as a point of contact and invite them to our job site to be able to meet with our employees to ensure 100% union membership. On a weekly basis I verified time cards against the job log and then sent the hours to our payroll vendor for check processing and unions for membership tracking. In the process I worked both remotely and on-site as needed to ensure we had complete personnel files all new hires moving forward and to manage any employee discipline or relations issues.
