Supported $155M annual hardware budget for ESS. Managed a support staff of 2 FTEs. Supported the financial planning processincluding monthly forecasting, variance analysis and reporting on a monthly basis. Partnered with the Fixed Asset Departmentand Vendor Management to ensure proper accounting for all hardware leases and fixed asset purchases. Developed internalbilling (ITSLA). Supported Software Capitalization for MetLife. Ownership of internally developed software capitalization &amortization process for projects engaged in by IT, including the evaluation of project for capitalization and determination of the P&L impact. Established and maintained procedures to ensure that MetLife complied with SOP 98-1 including SOX controls testing, as well as ensuring the capital vs. expense split were calculated appropriately. Partnered with IT Managers & IT Controllers during SOX compliant Quarterly Impairment Reviews.

Worked directly with the Financial Controller of a $246M and 755 Direct Staff business that provided technology development and support for Citibank, North America. Managed the monthly financial reporting including month-end closing and reconciliation process, detailed variance analysis, expense analysis, accruals, reporting headcount, re-classes, sending and receiving of inter-company expenses and balance sheet management. Researched, assembled, and obtained proper approvals for Major Expense Proposals (MEP’s). Worked closely with Technology Officers in the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of annual budget and accurate input of data into reporting systems. Prepared the fixed asset and balance sheetreconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis. Reconciled Citibank systems such as MRS/NACMD/ESSBASE to ensure data integrity between the various reporting systems. Prepared monthly performance analysis for executive management. Created tracking method for technology purchases, various purchase orders and process invoices. Established consultant tracking process; maintained database of 25 companies, obtained proper approvals, including the legal contract and assignment plan, processing invoices, and tracking of payments.
