Telephone Sales RepresentativeZenith Staybrite Jun 2005 - Aug 2006During the summer, I worked on shift cold calling homeowners and trying to create leads for the field sales team. This was a high pressured job, in a fast paced environment. I was often near the top of the ratio board, which looked at the number of leads, time on the phone and number of calls made. I learnt quickly, how to ensure the home owner would be interested in what you had to say and developed my own sales pitch. I learnt negotiation skills and had to communicate efficiently and listen to the customer, in order to quickly adapt the direction I was taking to suit them.
