As a veterinarian and successful entrepreneur, I have many personal and professional experiences. In the face of personal tragedy and being thankful for my resilience, my experiences have developed me into the leader I am today. I feel compelled to share my time, talent, and treasure through volunteerism and advocacy, which primarily revolves around marginalized people and animal populations. My experiences have been motivational, rewarding, and fulfilling in ways my traditional career was not. This journey has taught me the skills to be a purposeful, successful servant leader.I applied these same principles of servant leadership and culture building within my businesses, and the results have been extraordinary. Through the creation of a generative and thriving culture and the implementation of servant leader ideals like empathy, compassion, awareness, and stewardship, yet maintaining necessary business acumen, I have developed a fantastic enterprise. Among my accomplishments are numerous community accolades and inclusion in the Inc. 5000 business list twice, being named the Mississippi Small Business Association’s Businessperson of the Year, and a Top 10 Finalist in the Top Mississippi Business Women. Through professional development, including presently working on my Doctorate of Business Administration degree, I continue to develop my skills and knowledge to assist others in becoming the servant leaders they were meant to be!
