At A Haven we support grieving children with a family-centered approach. We acknowledge that empowering families to walk through grief together is an important piece in supporting a grieving child. Research now reveals that the number one determining factor on how a child grieves is how the parent/guardians grieve. In addition, family communication and a healthy environment can lessen the burden of grief. Knowing these factors, our focus is to support and equip these trusted adults to lead their children through grief in a healthy trust-building way and navigate grief together as a family. While also providing a safe place for children, teens, and young adults to know they are not alone in their grief.

Responsible for leading the internal sales desk which is comprised of 70+ internal wholesalers, dedicated sales consultants and sales consultants. We are a strategy-based, data-driven, technology-enabled sales desk that drives sales from the inside.Redefined our hiring and recruitment practices as we increased the size of our team in 2024.Coordinated our sales award celebration at our national training meeting for the past few years which includes presenting awards to employees in both sales and sales support.I serve as office champion for the Women's Business Network and also the PRIDE network.I also serve on the Board of Directors for A Haven, a local non profit which offers grief support groups and grief resources for families with children, teens and young adults.

Key Accomplishments:Launched our Wholesaler Academy in 2018 for internal wholesalers who want to transition to the RVP role. My team created all materials, coordinated multiple sessions and coached members on their Presentation Skills.Became certified in teaching Effective Presentation Skills and High Impact Presentations.Coordinated the 2 day offsite Retail Training Conference for all GA Retail lines of business including content creation, delivery and post training plans.

Represent the retirement distribution organization throughout all PMO initiatives that involve an external launch including new product launches and new firm launches with a focus on go to market strategies and execution.Design and deliver training program for distribution new hires and ensure a successful onboarding experience for new hires. Our robust new hire training program covers nine different products including variable annuities, fixed index annuities, fixed annuities, a fixed annuity with a long term care rider and a SPIA/DIA product.Coordinate all communications to the sales teams on a weekly basis including product changes, firms launching, marketing material availability, compliance updates etc.As new products are developed or current products are modified, partner with Sales Management, Marketing, Product Development and Compliance to roll out new training to entire sales force. Key Accomplishments:Successfully led the marketing and distribution subgroup which tracked all launch execution activities from a firm, sales and marketing perspective for our launch of Wells Fargo with several of our product offerings. Cross trained our entire sales force in the fall of 2016 on various products as we transitioned to a new strategy based distribution model where each wholesaler was responsible for multiple products.Responsible for leading the team that launches new firms or additional products at existing firms. In 2016, worked with the team members to create a solid process and successfully launched more than 90+ firms or new products at existing firms.Launched Allego as a tool to assist with coaching & development, communications and on demand training in August 2016 including segments on sales strategies, sales ideas, best practices, product training and competitive intelligence.Trained more than 45 new hires as we doubled the size of our internal sales desk in 2015 to support a 1:1 wholesaling model.

Created content for equity and fixed-income funds in all mediums: print, web, and e-marketing. This included assisting product marketing coordinators by providing and editing copy for all marketing collateral including fund brochures, fund flashes, print mailers, sales emails, and microsites.Composed and edited quarterly client "Informed Investor" newsletter distributed to ~160 K Hartford Fund shareholders.Received the “Award of Excellence” from IFCA, Insurance and Financial Communicators Association, in 2011 for our investment theme client brochures. Edited and promoted more than 60 white papers annually on a variety of industry topics.Participated in the ad-review process to ensure all materials meet corporate guidelines, state regulations, and FINRA compliance.

Acted as a liaison between meeting planning and marketing to identify and act on opportunities to increase efficiency and consistency surrounding the external sales invitation process while maintaining ING’s compliance and brand standards. Project leader for the Winning Performance Culture Action Team which assessed and analyzed data from a recent employee engagement survey and provided recommendations to senior management regarding implementation of company-wide improvements. Have been responsible for developing and maintaining the Annuity Business Group Communication Plan. This included coordinating communications, employee meetings and advisory councils.Worked to leverage the ING Corporate sponsorships of Formula1 and the marathons across the Retail Annuity Business Group and its employees.Volunteer Coordinator for ING’s philanthropic efforts in the West Chester and Malvern sites. Responsible for developing new volunteer opportunities for employees based upon their interests. In 2010 established multiple new relationships with local non-profit organizations and provided ING employees with over 1,000 hours of community service opportunities.

Worked with external wholesalers to effectively manage our territories. Had several successful relationships with various external wholesalers. In 2004 both external wholesalers exceeded 100 million for their sales goal. Responsibilities included maintaining relationships with existing producers, following up on all RVP meetings and leads passed from other internals.
