Jennifer is a business-focused legal executive with a unique blend of experience working with fast-paced and disruptive global software, hardware and services businesses, often with unique regulatory challenges and significant M&A -- IPO, sale and/or investment -- activity. Her broad experience includes working with boards of directors and executive management, and building and managing high-performing teams. Jennifer currently serves as General Counsel at Grammarly, the AI company whose mission is to improve lives through improved communication. Before Grammarly, she served as GC/Chief Legal Officer at Starship Technologies, and before that, she was General Counsel and Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs for Loon, the Alphabet Moonshot Company. Jennifer seeks out and thrives at companies undergoing explosive worldwide growth while developing innovative and disruptive technologies, and is an active community volunteer and regular public speaker on panels and podcasts alike. Jennifer has been recognized by her peers for her achievements, most recently as one of Women we Admire's Top 50 Women Leaders in San Francisco (April 2022), and as a 2020 Corporate Counsel/Law.com Women, Influence and Power in Law Awardee. She was also honored in 2019 as one of the Top Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council, and was selected in 2017 as Corporate Counsel of the Year by the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
