I’m Jen.I'm a science-focused writer and editor, mom of three girls, five and under, and owner of WelshLee Creative, LLC, a science communication and graphic design business based in New Britain, CT. I create bespoke branded content, web copy, content marketing articles, and press releases for major universities, hospitals, and other clients. My goal in my science communication is to accurately convey nuggets of novel biomedical research through a big-picture lens — providing context and clarity to work that can often be confusing and complicated. I honed my science communication skills through a decade of writing and editing science content for the public on the web. Through my management experience and editorial strategy work, I’ve developed a knack for building teams, launching new things, and making significant transformations happen.
