I am a respected luxury and adventure travel expert and have shared insights and industry tips with media outlets including Vogue, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Condenast Traveler, Afar, and beyond.After 15 years + of travel industry experience, I have come to realize that immersive travel has the power to transform by creating meaningful connection and cultivating compassion. My secret weapon to planning a great trip? I weave together my experience as both a life coach and travel designer to listen deeply and ask questions of my travelers that help them get clarity about their goals. I love getting to know people and their values, and then helping to make their dreams come true. Though my job requires great attention to detail, I am equally drawn to questions of strategy, vision, and how to cultivate collaborative teams.I am obsessed with entrepreneurship & leadership and keep up with the latest ideas in these area and volunteer with the Renaissance Center for Entrepreneurship, reviewing business plans. I care deeply about conservation and serve on the board of directors for the International Galápagos Tour Operators Association (IGTOA). I co-founded Women Travel Leaders, an industry association that serves to elevate female leaders by developing leadership skills and building community.As an Ambassador for the Transformational Travel Council, I believe that travel has the power to change the world and it starts with us. I am an active member of the Adventure Travel Trade Association, and have spoken on many panels and positioned as an expert in several industry reports. My current side project is Everyday Magic, a collection of inspiring stories and best practices from incredible people who have harnessed the magic of travel and use it every day. Work/ life integration is easy for me because I love what I do and the people in this industry! When I’m not at my desk, you can find me sailing, stand up paddle boarding, or salsa dancing.
